Spring has sprung

We're quite fond of Simple Pleasures' new blue color and their new styles in robes, pajamas and gowns. They are so comfortable and wash so well and last forever. Try a pair. They'll be your favorite "looseys."

You keep asking for Keeping Count, the newest notebook in Nofo's Organization Library. And, we're happy you're interested. Its in production and we're hoping to have it in April.
The folks who have been testing it for us love it - which is good news - and they feel it's helped them get a handle on just where their money's going. It's intended to help you keep up with your bills, your budget, and the items you need at Tax Time. So, soon. We'll have it soon.

Did you know that the Barefoot Contessa has her own line of products produced by Stonewall Kitchen? Well, she does, and we'll have her mixes in house shortly for you to try.

Our dingle, dangle dish towels are so absolutely adorable, we can hardly stand it. We've had chickens in the past, but now we have veggies, fish, pink pigs, and two different chickens. And......we've tablecloths with dingle, dangle in round and a very big rectangular one. There's a solid blue cloth and red, blue and black gingham ones. Oh my. And, yes, they launder well.

Vietri has just told us they are going to discontinue Aurora, the rooster pattern. We'll be able to order through May - or until they run out. So, buy now if it's your pattern. Bummer! It's one of our favorites.

Pot Luck has decided that they are keeping pink in their Flirt line, but brown is out. Seems they can't produce the brown color consistently. We've just received a new shipment of their fabulous napkins in white lace, bold dots and colorful stripes. And, we've all three sizes of cake stands in the store at one time.

in other news...

We think we've figured out a way to carry Caroline's delicate coconut cake which can be a tricky shipping problem. Watch for it in Nofo's freezer along with their Montana Gold Cake - 4 chocolate layers with caramel icing. It's scary good.

At Nofo at the Pig in Raleigh, we've had a cafe rebellion. We thought customers would like a change from Spinach Burgers to Lentil Burgers. Silly us. And lots of folks are Lentil Burger fans. Seems the Spinach Burger devotees are threatening a "fork down." Hey, we heard you...and we're going to offer both.

Easter bunnies, eggs and baskets are pouring in the door. We'll be putting Easter out the first of March. We know...Eckerds had it out the first of February, but we don't think bunnies and cupids like sharing space. And, it's our job to keep you focused.

Somehow we never paid homage to winter this year. Folks who bought new fur coats hardly had a chance to wear them, and our hot chocolate sales were down. Red bud trees and jonquils have burst into bloom, so we're having a sale on all things woolly and warm. Come on in.
