Young folks tend to laugh at bed jackets. But if you've had to spend any length of time in bed or simply like to sit up and read in bed, you understand the bed jackets' raison d 'etre: No extra fabric to get tangled up in, No lumping, No tucking, No fuss. They keep you warm and presentable and cover you up!

Its always nice when they're also pretty and ours are as pretty as can be. We've a blue & a pink posy print and a beautiful white quilted one to choose from.

Diptique has decided to handle their US sales themselves. They are cutting back their stores to approximately 100 in the US. Neiman Marcus & Barney's are the only "safe" stores we've heard of. We'll have Diptique as long as they let us -- so cross your fingers for Nofo. Cest lavie.

Darn. We heard that we're opening a Nofo in Morehead City. Since several of us spend a lot of time in Beaufort and Morehead, we were excited to hear it....but, unfortunately it's just a Rumor..for now.

Our Easter, Mother's Day & Fathers Day Joy of Not Cooking menus will be available this month. Book early as we do fill up. And, yes, we can prepare dishes not listed on the menu.

Also, our Tote & Boat, Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day menu will be out. Plan ahead- especially if you usually have a house full of folks for these holidays.

Grab & Dry gloves, and more!

We met the two charming ladies who invented "Grab & Dry" gloves in Atlanta. They are former caterers who've washed their share of fine crystal, china and silver in their clients homes.

These gloves are pretty swell. Made from some miracle fabric that absorbs gallons of water, they're lined with a waterproof fabric so your hands stay dry. NO fingerprints, NO wet hands, No dropping glasses, NO way you can get by without a pair.





We're sad. They're no longer making "The Man, The Myth, The Legend" mug or the "Eat the Enemy For Breakfast" cereal bowl.




The nicest compliment we receive is when someone calls and says they received a Nofo basket from someone and enjoyed it so much that they want to send one to a friend. Seems our most popular baskets are the ones sent to new moms, folks who're recovering from surgery, et al. They contain meals.

Usually folks choose casseroles, chicken pot pie, salads, bread, desserts & coffee, tea or wine. We help the customer choose the appropriate products and deliver it to the recipient.

Today, a customer called and said they'd loved the basket they received so much that they ordered one sent to themselves!
