We are so happy for Steve Flaugher, Michele Flattum and Elijah Bean. Michele and Steve were married on August 3rd in Charlotte. Bean, a first grader, carried the wedding rings in a bird's nest and told his mom to please say "I will, I will!" when the minister asked her if she would take Steve. We wish them much happiness and a house full of Beans.

Inside Out

Before Mr. Maytag, clothes, bed & bath linens were hung out to dry on clotheslines. Blankets and bedspreads were often laid out on the lawn or draped over a hedge to dry or air out. Our "things" smelled of fresh air & sunshine.
